EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S REPORT

CONSTRUCTION OF A 3-STATE NESE PIPELINE STARTS

Williams has initiated construction on its Northeast Supply Enhancement (NESE) pipeline project, a significant infrastructure expansion spanning New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.

The project will expand the existing Transco pipeline system, enhancing the reliability of natural gas delivery throughout the Northeast. Construction will occur across densely populated urban and suburban areas, requiring close coordination with local communities, regulatory agencies, and a range of stakeholders.

With permits now in place, the project is targeted to enter service in 2027. Work includes the installation of new pipeline segments as well as upgrades to existing infrastructure to ensure long-term system performance.

Beyond strengthening energy reliability, the project is expected to drive regional economic activity and support construction-related employment throughout its multi-year development.

NUCA NJ supports the continued construction of pipelines both within our state and across the country.
